Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 September 2026

1. What the service is
VUNIVA turns a visual design into a working React Native project and delivers it to a source repository you control.
What we provide: the editor, the code generator, the delivery, and optionally an AI assistant that edits your design.
What we do not provide: hosting for the apps you build, the app stores' approval, or the third-party services your app connects to (Supabase, Firebase, Expo, GitHub, GitLab and others). Those are between you and them.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract. Keep your credentials safe: activity under your account is treated as yours.
One account, one legal person. You may invite others to your organisation, and you remain responsible for what they do.
Tell us promptly at vuniva@xigi.uk if you think your account has been compromised.
3. Plans, prices and payment
Plans and current prices are shown in the Studio. Prices there come directly from our payment provider, so what you see is what you pay.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, through Stripe.
- Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise; VAT is added where applicable.
- Payment failures are retried by Stripe. Your service continues during the retry period; if payment ultimately fails, the subscription ends.
Limits. Each plan has a limit on the number of apps and on AI assistant usage, measured over a rolling four-hour window as well as weekly and monthly. Reaching a limit pauses new AI requests; it does not remove your apps or your code.
Price changes
We may change prices. For existing subscriptions we give at least 30 days' notice by email, and the change applies from your next billing period. If you do not accept it, cancel before then.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the Stripe portal linked in the Studio. Your subscription runs until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not pro-rate partial months.
Consumer withdrawal rights. If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By starting to use the paid service immediately you agree we begin performance at once, and you acknowledge that your withdrawal right ends once the service has been fully performed in that period. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded are unaffected.
After cancellation: the code already delivered to your repository remains yours. Your designs stay available on the free plan within its limits.
5. Who owns what
Your content, your code
You own your designs and the code generated from them. We claim no rights over the apps you build, and we do not use their content to train models.
We need a limited licence to host and process your designs in order to run the service — nothing more, and it ends when you delete them.
Our software
The VUNIVA editor, generator and platform remain ours. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or offer them as your own service.
Generated code
The generated project is yours to use commercially, modify and distribute without restriction from us. It includes open-source dependencies (React Native, Expo and others) under their own licences, which you must observe.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use VUNIVA to:
- build or distribute unlawful content, malware, or tools for unauthorised access
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy
- circumvent plan limits, share one account across organisations, or automate the service in ways that degrade it for others
- store special category personal data in ways you have no lawful basis for
We may suspend an account that breaches this section. Where the breach is not serious and can be fixed, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service available and monitored. Availability commitments, where offered, are set out in the separate Service Level Agreement; unless you have one in writing, the service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.
We may carry out maintenance, and will give notice of planned downtime where practical.
8. Third-party services
Builds run on Expo's infrastructure using your Expo account. Delivery pushes to your GitHub or GitLab. Your app's data lives in your provider account.
We are not responsible for those services' availability, pricing or terms. If one of them fails, VUNIVA may be unable to complete an operation through no fault of ours.
9. Liability
Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data that you could have prevented by keeping your own copies.
- Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Keep your own backups. Your generated code is in your repository — that is your copy, and it is the reason this limitation is reasonable.
10. Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time.
We may end it with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach these terms or fail to pay.
If we discontinue the service, we give at least 90 days' notice so you can export what you need. Your delivered code is unaffected — it is already in your repository.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we give 30 days' notice by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them; if you do not, cancel before they take effect.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of your own country, and you may bring proceedings there.
Before going to court, write to us. Most disputes are a misunderstanding, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
